Twilight
Stephenie Meyer

Twilight is a romantic novel full of suspense. This book has you flipping pages
continuously to see what will happen next. Although this book contains vampires, it’s not
all about blood and gore. In Twilight the main character, Bella, moves to Forks,
Washington with her dad for the convenience of divorced parents. Bella is not a social
person, and while attending a small town school, everyone tries to get to know her. As
she resents all the attention, she finds herself intrigued with the one guy who is trying to
stay far from her. The adventure takes a twist; Bella finds herself falling in love with
Edward, a vampire.
Stephenie Meyer writes this novel as the first in a series of four. She has a talent of
luring in a reader with romance and action and gentle surfaced characters that have
supernatural power they hide from the world. Stephenie hooks her readers with suspense
and intensity. This book may appear to have numerous pages, but large print and an
intriguing story allows the reader to not stop flipping pages.
